Hi, my name is Sara. I'm from Michigan originally but have lived all over the US, outside the US, and now I have been traveling full time for the past two years. After a layoff in the tech space, I've decided to go all in on my own business of web design, brand strategy, and education. Although most of my work is done at the computer, movement brings me the most joy, which is why I'm always in a new place, walking for hours to explore, running ultra-marathons, or finding every salsa/ bachata place to dance in a city. I thrive the most when I'm helping people achieve their goals, whether that is being a cheerleader for a friend, helping a business with the website of their dreams, advocating for accessible digital technology, or building a curriculum that is inclusive of the needs of a variety of learners.

I embrace unconventionality as someone who has been a nomad for over two years. I visit family, friends, and places around the world that I feel called to create and explore, and I constantly balance the joy of finding a sense of 'home' in every place while simultaneously feeling that no one place feels right for me to be in for long. I am more of a generalist in the work that I do, ranging from digital design to education, and I'm passionate about using my technical background to elevate, educate, and help communities that I believe in. I embrace diversity by traveling to places of the world and learning about the people, culture, and artwork. I’m currently working on helping share the stories of small businesses and nonprofits through accessible website design and brand strategy.
