Since 2019, Hermanas Housing groups have been a safe space for thousands of women to share their homes efficiently, access to unique opportunities, sometimes make new friends. All without any cost. Throughout this journey, we have collected thousands of beautiful stories, learnings and feedbacks. Today, the housing groups face certain limitations regarding their safety, scalability and sustainability. Transitioning to Housing Communities solves those frustrations and provide more val The groups are part of a larger ecosystem, a movement created by and for women, based on strong values such as trust, collaboration and reciprocity. These values extend in all directions. As every part of our evolution, this transition is driven by what excites and creates value for our members.

Same Platform: Housing Communities are umbrellas for all the WA groups within the specific regions. The principles within these groups remain the same as what you are already used to : share opportunities and talk about anything related to housing, in a friendly, trustworthy and efficient manner. Better Navigation: Seamlessly navigate all housing groups (cities) in your region. Enter and leave groups following your travel plans, without fearing to loose your spot while you’re not there. Open new locations: Suggest new locations within your region(s), in a single click. Participate to our global expansion and start new group where there’s a need. Refined guidance: Enjoy a harmonious space by adhering to our refined Housing Communities Ethos & Guidelines, which align with the rest of the Hermanas ecosystem. Enhanced security: Each participants has registered basic information, which allows us to verify each user, and promote more accountability within our exchanges. Hermanas Housing Communities are hosted on WhatsApp Communities. Same WhatsApp app, different feature that answers our nomadic housing needs better. There are four regional Housing Communities: Europe, USA & Canada, LATAM, APAC, Middle East, Africa. You have the option to choose between local (one community) or global (all communities). Each Community is further structured by location (city / area). EUROPE: Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Ibiza, Istanbul, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Mallorca, Milan, Paris, Porto. USA & CANADA: Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Washington DC. LATAM: Baja California, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Costa Rica, Medellin, Mexico City, Oaxaca City, Puerto Escondido, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo. Tulum APAC, MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA: Bali, Beirut, Cape Town, Dubai, Marrakech, Melbourne, Singapore, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Tokyo

We accept any type of card payments, Google Pay and Apply Pay. For the moment we do not accept any other payment methods such as PayPal or others.

During weekdays it takes up to 24h to be approved. During the weekends it can take up to 48h to be approved.

As a Mycelium member you are directly granted access to the Housing Communities. Please go to the Mycelium, make sure you are logged in and from the menu bar navigate to ‘WhatsApp Groups’.

Once, you have successfully submitted your application form and processed the one-time entree fee, you will receive an email with the subject ‘Welcome to Hermanas Housing’. Please request access to the WhatsApp Communities using the access links in the email. Within the next 24h you will be accepted

Within each Hermanas Housing Community, you can request to open new group in the location of your choice. If it suits the needs of the community in this region, this new group will be open. If you are interested in communicating about accommodation that is close to a specific city or area, you’re invited to post in that group.

At any time you can enter, leave and rejoin any group within the same Hermans Housing Community. This will not remove you from the general Hermanas Housing Community of the specific region you have joined.

The communities are to share opportunities and talk about anything related to housing, in a friendly, trustworthy and efficient manner. There you can find, rent, exchange, sell, swap accommodations, as well as share recommendations for anything housing related. Each participant is asked to follow the Housing Ethos & Guidelines, designed to make housing easier, safer and more accessible for women globally. In these spaces, we’re all friends of friends, sisters who treat each other as such.

The existing WhatsApp groups will be resticted on the 1st of December, and moved to the Hermanas Housing Communities (on WhatsApp communities) of its related region.

Yes. You can enjoy the Hermanas groups as you wish. Hermanas is a movement with a ambitious vision and a mission. A global ecosystem, of which the WhatApp groups are of a part of. Beyond the WhatApp groups, Hermanas offers a wide range of features and benefits, including the Collaborative Calendar, Partners’ perks & benefits, a library of projects, among other advantages - coming soon. Yes. The annual community contribution is 5500 MXN (≈300 USD). This contribution ensures continuous enhancement of the Hermanas experience, providing access to our private community platform and exclusive membership perks.
