Hi, I'm Madlen. I am from Germany and I live in Berlin. I used to live overseas in Australia and New Zealand and a piece of my heart is still there. I love traveling, exploring new places and cultures. Nature inspires me as a photographer. I love capturing landscapes and nature in all its glory, but I also enjoy taking portraits and connecting with people through my lens.
Back in New Zealand, I had a solo exhibition and was a finalist for the New Zealand Geographic Photographer of the Year award which was an amazing experience. Currently I'm pouring my creativity into building my brand, "MadyMadlin." I'm excited to be here and connect with all of you.
Diversity is life itself. Everything that surrounds us, cultures, landscapes. There is no single "right" path to go or to do things. Take my life, for example. Most of my friends at my age are settled down with families. For them, or society, this is the conventional way and I am more like an outsider. I moved to different places and I´m still not sure where I want to live. Sometimes its not easy to be different, but then I remember that I am on my own journey and are thankful and happy about my unconventional way of living.
