Wellness & Wellbeing
This workshop welcomes participants of all levels, into a collective exploration of 3 distinct movement traditions passed down through generations, from different parts of the world. Together, we will observe how the meanings and stories behind these ancient movements can live in our own bodies and help us navigate our own lives.
We have the honor of collaborating with three talented and soulful teachers who share deep devotion to the cultures, places, emotions from which the dances they carry forward have sprung. First day is traditional West African dance from the Mandingue ethnic group, day two is Hula and ‘Ori Tahiti from Hawaii, the third day; Whirling and Sacred circle dances. Therapeutic movement sessions, sound healing, art therapy etc plus food from each culture.
