This body of work is centered around memory and the act to remember, walking along the boundary of reality and fantasy, large scale paintings invite you into a dreamlike world, glowing figurative shapes capture something that has passed, or the way we would like to see it, drawing similarities between how we imagine, dream and recollect.

Holly Biörklund graduated from Saint Martin's College of Art in London.
Exhibitions of note include, a painted ball gown for the MET gala in 2016, a solo show at New Release gallery (New York) in 2020 and a solo show at Melina Merkouri, (Ydra, Greece ) in 2023. Her work is on permanent display at 11 Howard in NY, and she created a mural for the legendary OCF studios in Ydra, during her residency there in 2023.
