Restless, passionate, and driven by childlike wonder. I am a writer, curator, and researcher exploring social justice, ecology, feminism, and art through a poetic lens. My work is aimed at softly deconditioning from the systems we inhabit. I do this through sensorial essays, curation of rituals and workshops, and talks. Writing and ritual are at the center of my research. My work in the community infuses poetry, ritual, movement, dialogue, and critical analysis. My words are in Atmos Magazine, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, The Lissome, World of Topia, and many notebooks around the world.

HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?

I think I have been unconventional all my life, not because I forced myself to be different but because I have always wanted to be free. I think being unconventional is beautiful when it comes to community, you always find likeminded and similar people when you are not pretending you are someone you are not. At the same time, I have often felt out of place, I have learned to embrace that and love all of myself.

HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?

I am a writer, writing is the way I can have a conversation with myself and the world. I also have a lot of weird side projects and try to get out of my writing head by painting, making candles, and blending essential oils. I love crafting rituals, and to do it in a way that embodies the topics I write about. I tend to be in my head so being creatively in my body is something that I practice every day.

HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?

I am happy to mentor dialogue booths where women can come together and discuss difficult topics with tenderness.
