HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?

Growing up as a third-culture kid and an Aquarius, I've always been unconventional. I've always questioned norms and rules and moved to the beat of my own drum. As a kid it was harder to execute my unconventionality, but as an adult, even my decision to move to Mexico City without a job, on unemployment in the middle of the pandemic was very unconventional. Everyone around me back home thought I was crazy. Leaving my architecture job and becoming a breathwork and embodiment guide was unconventional. Being unconventional is hard because people are always questioning you, and raising eyebrows. I've lost a lot of friendships because I outgrew them, and couldnt continue pretending to be happy living under the conventional ways that were the glue for our friendships. I've had to endure a lot of family criticism for being 36, unmarried, and moving abroad. But it has also strengthened my own self trust, my intuition, it has given me a much happier life that I could never have if I had stayed in the USA as an architect. And it has shown others that there is happiness possible beyond just the norms they see every day. I personally have been told by countless people that my bravery and openness in living my unconventional life has inspired them to make unconventional decisions for themselves too. :)

HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?

I love making things with my hands, whether is cooking a meal, sewing clothes, making jewelry, ceramics, or refinishing furniture. I also am a deep thinker, I like sharing my paradigm-shifting ideas through writing, or by speaking directly with people and allowing our imaginations and ideas to feed off each other.

HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?

I see myself contributing in so many ways. Besides my professional offerings of breathwork and somatic healing, I have a beautiful space for events, I have lived here for over 2.5 years now so I also have valuable tips and advice for CDMX and Mexico. Cutting back on consumerism with second hand clothes and other house-hold goods recycling/ donation. I also love planning experiences
