HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
I followed my intuition and passions when I moved from Lake Tahoe, California to Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, México in 2014. I felt lucky to be embraced by new people when I was feeling alone or confused. It really taught me to lean into discomfort and trust that there is a friend around every corner.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
My yoga practice and extreme sports like surfing, hiking and snowboarding are my ways in which I move my body creatively, responding to the elements around me. I also do many crafts like collage, sculpture, sewing and more, and love to share my creative expression via gifts for my loved ones.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?
I would be happy to mentor in Regenerative Design, sustainable building or entrepreneurship in general. I am continuously learning, but I have lots of experience in living and running businesses both in the US and in Mexico.
