Hi! My name is Natalia, I was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, and have been living in Stockholm for the past 2,5 years. I'm a creative and contemplative person. Inspiration and freedom to act on it are the most important things to me. I love arts and crafts and tried many things, currently my creative hobby of choice is knitting & crocheting. I'm fascinated by indigenous cultures and their wisdom and spirituality. I have an established spiritual practice, syncretic in nature, mostly a mix of shakti tantrism, universal shamanism and slavic folk tradition. I'm very curious about plant medicine and herbalism and well as our interconnectedness (environmental and spiritual) with non-human life. Social justice, feminism and political and ecumenic critique are important fields of study for me lately.
HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
My work is very creative — that’s a big blessing for me because I thrive on inspiration and ideas! I’m a big fan of visual arts but even more than that I love craft: folk crafts with traditional materials and techniques and cultural significance behind them, modern crafts (I have MA in ceramics but lately my craft of choose is crocheting, and I really want to learn weaving), I live artisanal beautifully crafted products and deeply appreciate the human ingenuity and labour that go into it.
