Mominatu is a visual storyteller, fashion model, and writer. She spends her time traveling the world, taking photos and creating community through movement. Her bases include Senegal, Brazil, and New York. Heavily influenced by women and nature’s medicine. You can her on a billboard in New York City, writing in a cafe in São Paulo, or meditating in a Dhamma center in India. Mominatu is woman of many talents but the biggest one able to adapt and follow a natural flow of creativity.
HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
I embrace diversity and unconventionality by using my life as a canvas. I travel to places in the world that don’t have much of a yoga presence and create it. Embracing diversity for me is embracing myself.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
I express myself creatively through my writing. I have a substack where I connect with my readers. I also express myself creatively through imagery.
