I just moved to Mexico City after living in NYC for 5 years. I am Peruvian American. I love exploring new cultures and fell in love with Mexico. I work remotely in marketing and communications, freelancing, and consulting but I am always open to learning new skills. I enjoy going to yoga and pilates, cooking plant-based meals, and finding new creative outlets. As I am new to Mexico city, I have been spending more time going to museums, art galleries, sight seeing and just exploring as much as I can.
HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
diversity has always been something i surround myself with. living in NYC, there were always communities of diverse backgrounds. I love meeting new people and learning from their cultures. I embrace diversity by surrounding myself in communities that gather people from diverse backgrounds, causes for things I may not be involved in or know much of but its an opportunity for me to learn, popups that supports a community in need, etc.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
I express myself creatively through cooking. I love living a plant based lifestyle and making plants into things they are not or trying a new veggie and turning it into something great.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?
I’d be happy to offer advice to the community on refining a brand or exploring more creative marketing strategies. I’d also enjoy mentoring in areas like marketing or staying organized. As a freelancer managing multiple projects, I’ve developed strong organizational skills that help me stay on top of everything
