Traveling is a treatise on territory, social desire, freedom, survival and history. While gastronomy is a landscape that turns us all into migratory birds. Swallows are the symbol of sailors and for me the sea is one of my greatest teachers. Every chance I get I like to join a sailing boat to work as a team and remind myself that beauty requires effort. Today, after 20 years of independent career, I can finally define it: consulting and curation for real estate, editorial and strategic communication concepts related to the hospitality industry.
HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
Due to different circumstances, since I was a teenager, I have traveled alone to more than 45 countries and I think that this greatly developed my sense of universal belonging, respect for other cultures and mindsets but above all my capacity for observation and sensitivity.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
Photography as well as narrative are two of my passions and they serve as a means to invite others to travel or dream. Some of my work has been featured at Travel & Leisure, Kitchen Works and Fine Dining Lovers among others.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?
I really enjoy working with clients in Mexico, Portugal and Israel. Although the bulk of the projects are F&B, I am also involved with independent designers and galleries. The value of my work lies in understanding the
identity of each brand to integrate
customized solutions and equipment. Whether it's your first
project or brand expansion consolidated. Guiding my clients to expand their brands though strategic communication, location or campaign. I am fortunate to be able to decide which clients I want to work with: considering what does that their project will bring to the city, the environment and the community. My work its about a bit of urbanism, aesthetics and sociology too.
