I’m Joanna, born in the vibrant heart of Mexico City. I’m a lawyer and philosopher, and I’ve snagged master’s degrees in Education and Art, along with a doctorate in Education. Since 2014, I’ve been sharing my love for learning as a professor at the IPN and CB. Education, to me, is the magic key to true freedom. On top of teaching, I run a law firm specializing in Intellectual Property—think copyrights, trademarks, and patents. But that’s not all! I’m the national president of Ladies of Liberty Alliance (LOLA) and the director of strategic alliances at Liberty +. I deeply believe in the values of freedom, respect for life, and private property to build a more prosperous and beautiful world where everyone can be happy. I split my time between the bustling streets of Mexico City and the energetic vibes of New York City
HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
I embrace diversity and unconventionality through my experiences and connections around the world. Having traveled to every continent, I’ve had the privilege of immersing myself in a multitude of cultures, learning from the unique perspectives and traditions of each place For instance, my beloved one, you’re from India, a country rich in history, diversity, and vibrant traditions. My travels taught me the value of understanding and celebrating our differences, whether through cuisine, festivals, languages, philosophies and ways to see the world. These experiences have not only enriched my life but also shaped my approach to education and leadership. In my roles as national president of Ladies of Liberty Alliance (LOLA) and director of strategic alliances at Liberty +, I champion the values of freedom and respect for life and property.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
I express myself creatively through various mediums that allow me to explore and share my perspectives on the world.
Writing is a big part of my life—I regularly contribute opinion columns to newspapers and magazines, where I dive into topics I’m passionate about, mainly about liberty, human rights and government intervention.
My first book is about to be published, and I’m already working on my second one, which is incredibly exciting.
Lately, I’ve been drawn to photography as a powerful form of artistic expression, seen how others capturing moments through the lens allows me to see life from different angles and appreciate the beauty in everyday scenes.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?
I believe I can contribute significantly to our global community by sharing my expertise and experiences in several key areas. My deep understanding of how respect for life, freedom, and property can lead to a more prosperous world is something I’m passionate about teaching. I firmly believe that when individuals are free to pursue their passions, they can make meaningful contributions to combat poverty and create a more beautiful world for all.
