Dreamer and doer. Change-maker by conviction. Life coach by vocation. I’m an insatiable seeker who revels in exploring new people, places, tastes, and perspectives; an explorer of our inner universe and potential.
Curiosity and compassion are life-long companions. Born in Mexico and raised in the US, I have lived and worked in LatAm, Europe, and Africa, sharing my gifts and exchanging learnings and stories.
I value connection, freedom, alignment, kindness, and emotional well-being above all. My daughters are my greatest teachers and inspiration.
Career-wise, my values have guided me to international development, social entrepreneurship, impact investing, education, and coaching.
I am constantly evolving. I challenge myself toward self-realization- as a woman, tennis player, professional, and human being.
HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
I embrace diversity and unconventionality by exploring and delighting in the moments life offers- sensorially, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.
Diversity definitely adds creativity and pleasure to my life- I’m energized by places, people, and experiences that incite me to feel, think, and act beyond my ‘default settings’.
Unconventionality for its sake is unappealing; unconventionality enveloped in authenticity is breathtakingly beautiful. This combination draws me in naturally and is inspirational. The acceptance, strength, and conviction to be oneself- quirks, flaws, and all, is incredibly sexy and powerful.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
What first came to mind was creative expression through language, conveyed in both written and verbal form. I’ve been journalling since I was about 10- the pages have been a place of refuge and resolution- like the ideal friend who listens without judgment nor interruption, harboring my thoughts and emotions with delicacy.
I relish words and their potential to support, nourish, inspire, and connect. Words bring identity, comprehension, and reflection to emotions. They are a portal to ourselves, a bridge to meaningful relationships.
With clients I thrive on asking empowering questions- the gateway for the exploration of ideas and incubation of creative solutions to challenges.
As a mother, the playfulness of words is manifested through improvised fantastical stories and melodic songs.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?
I’d love to contribute to the community by engaging with members, events, and opportunities offered through Hermanas.
I’d be happy to support members through life & leadership coaching. For example, I could support international members moving to Mexico or who recently moved, as a bilingual local reference during their transition.
I am an expert in the emotional, psychological, cultural, and social aspects of transitions- geographical, career, transition to motherhood, to name a few. (I am certified as a Positive Discipline parent trainer in addition to being a mother.)
I also support the development of authentic leadership, based on empathy, emotional intelligence, and creativity. I would be delighted to speak or guide workshops for groups affiliated with members.
