HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
Oooh such a lil creative soul. I am currently writing two pilots. You can let me know if you think they are funny. If you don't think they are funny you can just lie to me. I'll take that too. I also love to paint, sing, dance, and craft.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
I've always felt like I've had to straddle two cultures- Indian and American. For Indians I often have felt I'm not "traditional" enough. For Americans I'll always be asked "where are you from? No, I mean where are you frooom?" I think what Ive realized is my background is nuanced! And I embrace that- I question everything and if that means I dont fit in any one place perfectly, that's okay.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?
I re-started my career at a later age and have been able to climb quite quickly in it- I'm always open to sharing my experience and helping other woman harness their power to get what they deserve, whether that be monetarily or to be seen.
