I am an ancestral coach, cultural facilitator, and storyteller who accompanies leaders, organizations to create new openings for transformation and disrupt the patterns of generational and systemic trauma in their self-leadership. I have been in deep practice, blending transformational coaching, family constellations and ancestral practices from a diverse set of lineages in order to shape a coaching approach that honors our collective story and support the retrieval of ancestral wisdom from Black, Indigenous, immigrant communities, including the birth of the Wild Dreams Coaching Program. When I am not accompanying others, I spend time with family and friends walking in the forest, retrieving herbalism practices and watching sunsets and moon phases over the Valley of Jovel in Chiapas Mexico.
HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?
I have deep roots in economic and human rights and movement building which has helped me grow my empathy and advocacy for inclusion and belonging. I continue to accompany and support others in the retrieval of ancestral wisdom from Black, Indigenous, immigrant communities in order to sense our ways back into collective liberation.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?
I love to write, dream and imagine. I love the art of ceremony and how it invites us into sacred space whether its cooking or building ceremony with others.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?
I am excellent at helping people find their own journey and take the steps to come back to themselves and their lineage, even if they have conflicted feelings about their ancestral line. Everything has a purpose even our grief and longing. I can help with that retrieval and mentor others back into resilience, rootedness and celebration.
