Only 20% of the startups worldwide have at least one female founder and 2% of the global VC funding goes to female-led startups. At Amela we seek to bridge the gap by becoming the one-stop platform which provides impactful support and empowerment for women founders to help them rise as leaders.
Amela was cofounded by Anais Cisneros, VC, chief of staff, exconsultant and INSEAD MBA, and Michelle Fischman VC, exconsultant and ecosystem builder. So far it already has +250 members in 14 countries.
