I am a Colombian artist living between Mexico and Colombia. After studying and developing my career in production design an art direction; I specialized in makeup. I love skin as a living organ and hair, being my canvas since 2010.
I have designed and made the characters of great series and movies for Latin America such as ¨Like Water for Chocolate¨ from HBOMax, ¨Noticia de un kidnapping¨ Amazon Prime, ¨Medusa¨ Netflix, ¨Maria Magdalena ¨On the other side of the garden¨ ¨Besieged¨ among others.
In parallel, I developed artistic projects linked to an artistic collective within the Barranquilla carnival ¨La Puntica na´más¨ leading makeup team for 7 years.
I am interested in exploring artistic residencies and independent collaborations around the world. In my personal life, yoga, meditation, rituals, dance, meetings and traveling are my inspiration to live in joy and gratitude.
I have related to diversity and the unconventional from living in authenticity. Understanding that diversity and the unconventional is life itself, it is a universal law, because everything is unique. I have been non-conventional since I was born (since I was born with some characteristics or deformities in my legs). I went through 8 surgeries, 4 years in a wheelchair & today I have danced 11 carnivals and traveled to several countries.
Authenticity, diversity and unconventional have been my super power, wisdom and inspiration in art and life.
