I love experiential luxury, sustainability, regenerative design, positive luxury, positive culture change and community. This plays out in various ways in my life and career which has had deep roots and success across ethical fashion, global systemic change, media, hospitality and entrepreneurship.
Most of my life has been a bit unconventional and always had a positive impact on others! In San Francisco in 2007 I brought a wooden podium bedazzled in mosaics and other flashy tiles to an electronic street fair. I put a sign that said “public poetry” on it. I put a note book, pens and I instructed “write a line or two- let’s create poetry together”. To my great surprise there was a huge - winding line of people lining up to participate! It was so cool. I then posted the photos of this group written story and poems on MySpace (remember that?!). It was very cool to see how I could bring people together, and weave in a micro - art experience that became an opportunity for expression and collaboration. Ps- at this time I was very into poetry, and writing !
