Sports & physical activity are my lifelines; Whether it's the thrill of a competitive game or the graceful movements of dance, I enjoy movement in all its forms. I am always looking to develop myself; Lately, I've been interested in the teachings of Buddhism.
For the past decade, I've worked in management consulting, across the Middle East & Europe. The recent focus of my work has been in sports, where I championed our women & sports practice for 2 years. Empowering strong, remarkable women to flourish has been a driving force in my career.
I've recently taken the bold step of bidding farewell to my corporate life & plan to relocate to Lisbon in January. It's a chapter of exploration & self-discovery
Being an Arab queer woman, I believe its important to celebrate the uniqueness and individuality of ourselves and others. My experience living in the ME and Europe and being exposed to different people through my travels has taught me that diversity is not only in gender, race, ethnicity and socio-economic backgrounds but it is also in ways of living, thinking and leading. In embracing diversity, I believe there needs to be self-acceptance and love, and one needs to lead from an open non-judgemental heart
