Hi Hermanas, I’m Carmen—a proud daughter of two cultures, half Mexican and half White, shaped by stories of resilience, love, and longing for belonging. I'm the first in my family to earn a master’s degree, but more than titles, what defines me is the deep desire to honor those who came before me by creating a life of purpose, connection, and adventure.
I’m a traveler at heart—always seeking new places, people, and perspectives. Whether I'm wandering through the streets of Europe or sharing reflections through my writing, I carry my roots with me, always grounded in comunidad and a vision of a more supportive, collective way of living.
In a world that often praises individualism, I crave something different: sisterhood, shared growth, and healing together. That’s why I’m here. I believe in the power of spaces like Hermanas to remind us we’re not alone in this journey.

I embrace diversity and unconventionality by being open to different ways of thinking, living, and being. I’ve never really fit into one box, and I’m learning to see that as a strength. Whether it’s through travel, connecting with people from all walks of life, or just choosing a path that feels true to me instead of what’s expected, I try to celebrate the things that make us different and learn from them.
